Eve Pollard is a British author, journalist and a former editor of several tabloid newspapers.

Summary:

Eve Pollard is often referred to as ‘The First Lady of Fleet Street’. She was one of the first female editors of a national newspaper in the UK, editing the Sunday Mirror from 1987-1991 and the Sunday Express from 1991-1994.

Biography:

In 1985 Eve Pollard OBE was launch editor-in-chief of Elle Magazine in the US and edited the Sunday magazine for the News of the World and You Magazine for the Mail on Sunday. 

With regard to her TV career she was the features editor for TV AM and also devised the series Frocks-on-the-Box for TVS and this series ran for two series, twenty six shows in total. She also appeared as a regular participant in Through the Keyhole.

She has been a guest panellist on Loose Women several times and is regularly seen reviewing the newspapers.
