Pippa Malmgren is an American policy analyst. She served as Special Assistant to the President of the United States for Economic Policy on the National Economic Council and former member of the U.S. President's Working Group on Financial Markets.
Dr. Philippa Malmgren, through her firm, DRPM Group, helps companies, investors and policymakers better understand how risk and prices will move across the economic landscape. Dr. Malmgren has been a visiting lecturer at Tsinghua University in Beijing and an occasional lecturer for INSEAD and the Duke Fuqua Global Executive MBA Program. In 2000 The World Economic Forum in Davos named Dr. Malmgren a Global Leader for Tomorrow. She is a Governor and member of the Council of Management of the Ditchley Foundation in the UK. She is a frequent guest on the BBC, including Newsnight and the Today Program, and a guest anchor on both CNBC's Squawk Box and Bloomberg's most widely viewed programs.
